This guide will go over the configuration of the IPVideo Halo Smart Sensor for the StaffAlerter System. Upgrading and Configuring Halo Smart Sensor (Release 2.5)

Introduction

Using the Halo Device Manager

Step 1

Once the Halo Device Manager has been installed, launch the application.

  1. From the Devices menu select Add User/Pwd
  2. The Add Logon box will then be presented
  3. Enter the User to login to the Halo (default: admin)
  4. Enter the Password to login to the Halo (default: changeme)
  5. Click Ok to save the settings

  1. From the Devices menu select Device Scan
  2. The application will scan for any devices on the local area network, the information for any found devices will be shown
