Halo Smart Sensors have the ability to detect and send emails when a programmed threshold for a sensor has been exceeded, these devices are individually managed and configured unless using StaffAlerter or Halo Cloud. Halo Smart Sensors have 20 different events that can trigger a notification either to StaffAlerter or if using stand-alone via email. StaffAlerter adds the ability to send phone calls, SMS text messages, and email notifications and can integrate with other systems to trigger additional actions when an event is detected.

StaffAlerter provides the ability to detect, automate, and respond to events and the Halo Smart sensor has been added to the StaffAlerter ecosystem to provide real-time information and environmental awareness.

Step 1 - Halo Units

Click Halo Units under the Devices heading at the bottom of the page.

Step 2 - Overview Table

The Halo overview table provides a list of all connected Halo Units and their status.

1. Name - Name of the Halo Unit, Click on the Name to see a detailed view of that Halo Unit.
2. Status - Online or Offline
3. Last Heard - Time and Date of the last Heartbeat sent by the Halo Unit
4. Last Alarm - Alarm type and date and time the alarm was detected.
5. Ops - Edit the Halo Unit
