Particle Devices are used to interact with other systems, hardwire buttons, or other devices on-premise. Particle processors are used in SA-Alert, Contact Notifier, SA-WiFi Base, and other StaffAlerter products. When a device is ordered it is configured on your organization's StaffAlerter portal and preconfigured to work on your organization's wireless network.

Step 1 - Particle Devices

Click on Particle Devices under the Devices heading at the bottom of the page.

Step 2 - Device List

The Particle Device list will show all devices associated with your StaffAlerter website and the status of those devices.

1. Device Name - Click on the device name to view more detail about the device
2. Status - Each Particle device sends a "Heartbeat" every minute to report it is "Online" and functional. Devices that miss sending 3 heartbeats in a row are marked "Offline".
