Particle Devices are used to interact with other systems, hardwire buttons, or other devices on-premise. Particle processors are used in SA-Alert, Contact Notifier, SA-WiFi Base, and other StaffAlerter products. When a device is ordered it is configured on your organization's StaffAlerter portal and preconfigured to work on your organization's wireless network.

Step 1 - Particle Devices

Click on Particle Devices under the Devices heading at the bottom of the page.

Step 2 - Device List

Click on the Device Name to view more detail about the device

Step 3 - Device Page

Click Edit at the top of the Device page

Step 4 - Upgrading the Device

1. Select the Software Version to upgrade or downgrade to from the dropdown list.
2. Click Save and Flash Device to flash the software to the unit.

Step 5 - Evaluate the Result

The page will refresh and show the result of the command in a green box as shown below. The upgrade will take about 5-10 minutes to complete depending on the current version the processor is on and the version that the processor is going to. During this time it may reboot several times and it will be unavailable until the process ends.
